Spring ’22 Application To The Major
This page contains the most up to date information available regarding the Spring ’22 Application process for applying for a major program (B.S. or B.A.) in Computer Science.
Eligibility
Students without credit for COMP 210 that are declared CS majors (B.S. or B.A.) with four semesters remaining past Spring 2022 at Carolina are eligible for this application round. This includes transfer students entering their 7th semester overall (3rd semester at Carolina) in Fall 2022 because of their automatic eligibility for a 9th and 10th overall semester at Carolina.
Students that are eligible for the Spring ’22 Application are not eligible for the Fall ’22 or the Spring ’23 Application.

- February 21, 2022: Application opens
- April 15, 2022: Application closes
June 6, 2022: Decisions communicated- May 21, 2022: Decisions communicated
All Spring 22 applicants should have received an email informing them of the application decision on May 21st from major-admissions-s22@cs.unc.edu – please check your Spam folder for an email titled “Computer Science Spring 2022 Admissions Update” before emailing major-admissions-s22@cs.unc.edu for a resend.
