Welcome to the UNC CS AI! We are a group of faculty, students (PhD, MS, and BS), and postdocs at UNC-Chapel Hill. Our diverse range of groups specialize in groundbreaking areas including natural language processing, computer vision, multimodal AI, machine learning, robotics, medical imaging, graphics and virtual reality, and advanced statistics and deep learning.
We are dedicated to solving complex challenges across various domains, from developing sophisticated AI and machine learning algorithms for better understanding human language and behavior, to innovating in robotics for medical and domestic assistance, and advancing healthcare improvements. Our collaborative, interdisciplinary approach extends across multiple fields, ensuring that our research not only pushes technological boundaries but also addresses real-world societal needs.
