Driving Innovation via Applied Solutions
The past 18 months have been a testament to the dedication and determination of the students, staff and faculty here at UNC Computer Science. Our faculty and students received recognition from a variety of prestigious institutions, including four National Science Foundation Early Career Awards, a Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE) and the establishment of a new collaborative NSF Institute for artificial intelligence.
Our research fosters collaborative relationships across campus and industry. As toolsmiths, we use the foundation of computer science to build a better future, critically and creatively using technology to provide solutions that benefit all.
