-Right-click any empty space in the This PC window and then click Add A Network Location.
-That opens the Add a Network Location Wizard, click next.
-You’ll be prompted for where you want to create the location, click on Choose a custom network location and then click on next.
-That opens a dialog box where you can enter the full path to the shared folder. Put \\\ in there or the name of the file server you want to connect to. (Don’t be confused by the explanatory text that asks you to enter a website name; that UNC path will work just fine.) You should be prompted for a list of shares shortly, choose the one you want, and it will create a shortcut for you in the This PC window.
