Senior Engineering Manager at Slack

Julia is a software engineer, product person, speaker, and avid athlete. She was previously the Head of Engineering at Tindie, where she was the first employee and built the engineering team. Before that, she was a research engineer at IBM Almaden Research, where she published eight peer reviewed original research papers and holds several patents. Now, she is the Senior Engineering Manager at Slack. She spends her “free time” half-marathon running and sits on the board of the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA.
