Kevin Jeffay is the Gillian T. Cell Distinguished Professor of Computer Science in the Department of Computer Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Washington in 1989.
His research and teaching interests are in computer networks, real-time systems, operating systems, and multimedia systems. He and his students focus on the general problem of improving the performance of communication services on the Internet.
