Mark Mine (M.S. 1994, Ph.D. 1997) was recognized by the 13th Annual Visual Effects Society Awards with an award for Outstanding Visual Effects in a Special Venue Project.

Mine, along with Tony Apodaca, Marianne McLean, Gilles Martin, and Edwin Chang, worked on Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquee de Remy (English: Ratatouille: The Adventure) is the new trackless ride in La Place de Rémy at Walt Disney Studios Park in Disneyland ParisClick here to see a video of the ride.

The Visual Effects Society (VES) Awards recognizes and honors the most outstanding visual effects work of the year and honors the artists who created them. This year’s ceremony was held in Los Angeles on February 4, 2015.
