Introduction to Databases

ANNOUNCEMENTS
  • December 5th: The final exam is moved to FB007.
  • October 25th: I will return your midterm tomorrow morning in class. If you wish to improve your score, please turn in a revised solution TOGETHER with your original midterm paper to my office AND email me the list of questions you want me to re-grade by 9AM Thursday Oct 27th. A correct answer will earn you up to 50% extra points. For example, if you got 20 points (out of a total of 30 points) for Q1 and turn in a correct ER diagram by the deadline, you'll get (30-20)*0.5 = 5 extra points.
  • October 16th: The midterm on Oct 17th will be open book/notes and close computer/PDA/phone. No material sharing between students is allowed.
  • October 5th: The final exam is scheduled to be at 4PM Friday December 9th in SN 011.
  • October 5th: The due time for Homework #2 is extended to Oct 10 5PM EDT in my office. There is a 10% bonus if you hand in by 9:30AM in class.
  • September 14th: Homework late policy: All homeworks are due at the begining of the lecture of the due day. Late submissions are accepted until the midnight of the due day subject to 50% panelty.
  • August 24th: The class will be held in SN 011.
